Cole spent the morning with Krista and the kids, one of his favorite things in the world. They were having a great time playing and creating ... until Cole came down with a fever. Poor little guy. Nonetheless, Krista managed to get some cute pics (of course!).

Last weekend we headed up to Seattle to spend some time with Keli, Macadam and Sarah and to catch a Mariners game. We had a great time and Cole was a rock star with the car trip (yay!).

softball season

Softball definitely marks the beginning of summer in our household! Every week we get together with Cory's team and their families for a bbq and the game. It's so much fun and this year Cole is old enough to enjoy it as much (or more) as we do. Here are some photos from the game tonight. The playground next to the field is one of Cole's favorite, so we split our time between the field and the slide.

i love you

Tonight I was putting Cole to bed and we were rocking and talking, and he looked up at me and said "i love you." What a wonderful way to end my weekend.
